Intangibility (Modified):
This ability can be used for most characters as an alternative to standard
Intangibility but is most common in the category of Mystically Bestowed.
If Game masters wish a more deadly version of the standard super ability
of Intangibility, they can use the ability of attacking while being Intangible.
The more conventional version of Intangibility makes the target Intangible
by effecting bonding elements of molecules. The modified version of the
power makes the character intangible by moving partially into a magical
realm, by going partially into the astral realm, or going partially into
special realm of the dead. Like the normal power of Intangibility, it gives
the character the ability for themselves and 40 lbs (18 kg) in of additional
material to become intangible. While the character is intangible with the
modified ability, the character cannot be effected by most attacks and
the ones that can are not the same ones as effect a normal intangible material.
She can be effected by psionics, some magical spells, holy items (Holy
water would hit her as if the character was solid but no damage and a holy
weapon would do damage), rune weapons, artifacts, Heroes Unlimited Enchanted
Weapons, and the character must chose one material that will effect them
as if sold. This could be silver, moonstone, or jade for example due to
their mystical properties of another material with game master permission
but should have some type of background reasoning. The character also cannot
pass through objects that are blessed (for example the wall of a church),
enchanted, or of the material selected but can pass through all others.
Spells that effect her are those that effect non-physically such as agony.
Much of the items that can effect the character are likely due to psychological
reasons. The being is not effected by gasses because she does not breath
and is not effected by electricity or similar weapons because her or she
is intangible in a different way then the normal power.
Like the normal ability, the character cannot become only partially
intangible and cannot touch or pick up any objects while intangible by
can speak and hear normally. As well, the character cannot glide; however,
the being takes no damage from falls or explosions. The individual can
also sink into the earth and can walk on smoke and water. The character
can become tangible or intangible at almost the speed of thought (Treat
as automatic parry). While the being with the modified ability of Intangibility
cannot engage in melee style Hand to Hand combat, he or she can either
throw objects or shoot a gun while intangible. If the being fires a bullet
or releases an item while the barrel or the item is inside of another individual,
the attack is treated similarly to a death blow. The character rolls to
strike normally, the person being attack gets to roll to dodge normally
(The characters attack can be parried by items that the character cannot
pass through) and if hit by attack, target saves vs attack roll. If missed,
SDC targets (including if in body armor), target takes double the weapons
damage straight to hit points (in MDC environment, MDC weapons straight
to hit points will kill SDC targets instantly) and MDC targets take weapons
SDC damage as MDC and take damage from Mega damage weapons times ten. Damage
cannot be regenerate for 1D4 hours. These attacks only cost one attack
because it is a normal attack.

- +1D6 to M.A. Attribute
- +1D4x10 SDC / MDC (Only MDC if other abilities make the character MDC)
- +20% to Prowl Skills
- Horror Factor: 14 when semi-transparent or walking through wall, may
be considered to be a ghost
