Both the Dwarves and the Kobolds are the recognized masters of weapon smithing. However Palladium seems to have neglected the masters of archery, the Elves. The Elven people have been practicing archery for millennia and are as a result archers beyond compare. They are also some of the most incredible bow makers and fletchers in the Palladium World. As might be expected, they are among the most expensive bows in the Palladium World, even a normal bow will cost 30% more than a human made bow or arrows. Few Elves have much interest in crossbows and their expertise does not include them although they can made crossbow bolts without peer.

These arrows are fairly common in elven sections of the community or elven shops. The bows are usually specially commissioned works however, and take 1D4 months to complete. Merchants however usually has some bows lying around for sale.
Dwarves and Kobalds can also increase the bonuses of an arrow (or crossbow bolt) but cannot increase the bonuses on a bow.
