Disposition:
Angelique is a free spirit at heart, chaffing hard at rules and enjoying the freedom to decide her own course. As such, she does not really like working in big organizations and prefers to work by herself or in small groups if at all possible. Even so, she is extremely loyalty to those she considers worth her trust and those she considers to be her true friends. As well, it hurts her greatly to have kill those she considers to be innocent and her time as a gladiator was some of the toughest times in her life. While Angelique was trained by the Coalition to hate wizards and non-humans, it never really stuck. Both could be found in the town which she grew up and she is fairly comfortable with them. This is not to say that she does not understand clearly that both can be extremely dangerous. Instead, she treats them both however she perceived them. If they do not act like a threat, she will not generally treat them like a threat. This is also not to say that she trusts anything from Atlantis. To her, they have shown themselves clearly dangerous especially after having been enslaved by them for several years and made to fight in their arenas.

Appearance:
Angelique is incredibly appropriate. She is quite beautiful, one might even say supernaturally so. She appears to be of nordic decent with pale skin which does not burn. Of course this is part of the bio-wizard augmentation which she was given. Her figure is just as outstanding and could easily be a pre-rifts model. Quite tall, almost six feet, she is statuesque and definitely quite strong and muscular. She has black hair with red highlights hair which comes down to the small of her back in waves and si almost curly, She has dark blue eyes, almost black. Her lips are almost blood red even though she does not wear any lip highlights. Of course her most distinguishing feature is her ten foot feathered wings which are snow white.
She usually dresses quite simply, preferring extremely dark red. She often dresses in dark red gowns with a full skirt but open such that her abdomen is open and plunges down to reveal the tops of her breasts as well. The outfits usually have tight sleeves. Around her wrists she usually wears golden bracelets which wrap around her arms and gold sandals which also wrap around her legs. On her back she wears a pair of swords. Sometimes she also wears a bikini top and bottom instead of her gown.

Character History:


Angelique was born in a wilderness town under control of the Coalition. The town was fairly self sufficientand grew a large surplus of crops for the Mega-Cities. Even so, there was a fair amount of magic in and around the wilderness town and she was always quite comfortable around magic. Periodically, Coalition patrols would search the village and those with gifts were adept at hiding them when the patrols appeared. Even with the periodic searches through the town and the disruption they caused, the town always considered the Coalition their protectors due to keeping the monsters from destroying all they had.


The Coalition was also the biggest way for a kid with dreams to make good on them. They offered training and an education for one who grasped for it. Angelique was one of them who grasped for it and joined the Coalition military. She did not want to just be a soldier but instead went for one of the toughest programs which the Coalition offered, that of a Coalition Commando. Very few can actually pass the training and are considered the toughest the Coalition has to offer.


She started running into problems almost right away while training, never really being indoctrinated in the Coalition's hatred of non-humans and practitioners of magic. As well, she was a free spirit and was never great at following there rules. Her reflexes were incredible and was extremely intelligent as well. As such, she was able to hold on until she learned the right things to say so that she would fit in with the programs although she never really believed them.


In the field, her opinions continuously had the potential to get her into trouble. She could not kill someone just because they were a wizard or were not human. Often, Commandos are sent on seek and destroy missions. Often volunteering to be in the vanguard, she did her best to warn those in her path that more Coalition troops were on their way. If someone attacked her, she was not so merciful, which happened a number of times, and those she saw practicing any form of actual dark arts were treated without compassion as well. Still, she was able to save many who might have otherwise been killed by patrols.


One day, while on patrol, she skimmed through a town. Virtually abandoned, she found a child. The child was not human but some type of blue skinned being. The parents of the child had been killed several days before and the child was alone. There was no way to get the child out in time and she could not just let the others kill the child. In the end, she ended up fighting her own team and was able to drive them off. From that day on, she was marked as en enemy of the Coalition to be hunted down.


To escape the man-hunt, Angelique tried to get far away from Coalition controlled areas and ended up near the east coast of what had once been the American Empire. Generally extremely rural and little in the way of technology. In many ways, it was even more primitive than the town where she grew up. Her combat skills enabled her to make a good living and worked as a mercenary who mostly worked to protect those not able to fight although she often chaffed when working with large organized groups.


Drifting from place to place, always looking over her shoulder, about six months after deserting the Coalition she hired on with a small wilderness fighting town. The town had a population of only a few hundred and was where was once the Chesapeake Bay. The village attacked the interest of Atlantis and a raiding party was send. She fought her best but was badly outnumbered. Most of the defenders were killed in the fighting. Somehow she managed to survive and almost managed to escape. Still, in the end she was captured and brought back to Atlantis.


Like most Coalition troopers, she was given an I.D. tag and she had been unable to get it removed. As a result, her captors soon learned that she was a renegade Coalition Commando and as such was considered quite a prize. Previously, they had captured a Coalition Special Forces trooper but somehow she managed to escape. It is one of the things that the Coalition trained their troops to do so it should be expected. Still, many prisoners try to escape but few actually succeed.


It was decided that she would be put in the arena and tested to see just how good a fighter she really was. Angelique did not displease them and she won over a dozen fights. Some were one on one while others were against multiple opponents. As well, some were in body armor with high powered weapons while others were with conventional weapons and almost naked. Many of her opponent were in the same situation as she was but it was her life or theirs. Still, the deaths of so many at her hands haunted her dreams and conscious.


Eventually, she was bought by a High Lord who decided that he wanted to make her tougher and able to fight supernatural creatures on her own without weapons or body armor. There were two possibilities. One was to give her tatoos and make her a tatoo warrior. The other was through bio-wizardry. The second was chosen and it was decided to give her wings among other modifications. Another item was to make her extremely attractive to make her almost look like an angel. Before then, she was little more than average in beauty. As a result, she is unrecognizable from her original appearance. Her Coalition I.D. Tag was removed at the same time.


When the augmentation was complete, she was put back into the arena as Moonhawk and had to fight many more times often expected to fight against other bio-wizard creations. Many of these were horribly disfigured and the fights were marketed as "Beauty against the beast." Usually she was scantily clad. Other fights were against other beautiful female which were supernatural or augmented in some way. She was a favorite with betting. The various Bio-Wizard modifications cost a fortune in gold for the High Lord but he soon earned it back.


Though fighting, she managed to gain a number of magic items. Some were gifts while others were off of her opponents. From an Altarian Warrior Woman, she captured a talisman of armor.


During the entire time, she hid the pain of what she did and pretended complete loyalty to her "Masters" although she always looked for a way of escape. One of her psychic abilities was that of mind block and she was extremely tough mentally. As a result, she was able to hide her true feelings. The High Lord decided to send her with a mission to hunt down vampires who are believed to lair in the wilderness of Atlantis. After several days, she was able to separate herself from the rest of the team with comparative ease and escape from the island was a lot simpler than one might expect. She simply flew off the island. Finally, freedom.
