Disposition:
Dawn can be extremely noble and heroic. She will fight to save those
in trouble and can be extremely chivalrous. She also will rarely back down
from a fight. The big problem is that she sees 'peasants' as lower than
her, no matter how high they advance. She actually realizes that it is
wrong and tries to fight against it but was raised on the idea that nobles
are better than the peasants. She has seen knights come from non-noble
families and be ever bit as skilled and capable as those of noble birth.
Several of them have also kicked her tail in combat and she at least can
respect their fighting abilities. In time, she will likely digest the lessons
fully and become a truly noble knight.
She has been taught to fight supernatural evil and will do everything
she can to fight them. She loves the good battle, fighting evil to save
lives and rescue those in need. Still, Dawn is not suicidal and will not
take on overwhelming numbers in battle. She is also willing to use cunning
in battle and tricky when direct fighting will not work. She is young but
has a reasonable good grasp on tactics. It is very possible that she might
travel out of the British Isles to fight enemies which she sees as her
goal.
Like her father, Dawn is very sexually active and has been known to
keep multiple lovers. This is slightly scandalous but since she is no longer
the heir to the Duke's lands, it does not matter all that much. Her father's
wife was very pushing on Morality and it is likely a way she rebels against
those teachings. Still, she is extremely tender with her lovers. It may
also be that she is simply looking for someone to belong with. She does
like to be pampered when she is not on the trail and does like to feel
like a lady.

Appearance:
Lady Goldrose is an incredibly tall woman, being a fair bit over six
feet in height. Her build is fairly slender although she is still extremely
strong. Still, she has a feminine appearance and has a reasonable bosom
and hips although she is more slim than anything else. One her most striking
features is long golden blond hair. The family name "Goldrose" comes from
golden blond hair being common in the family. It hangs straight when it
is not under armor and she resists the idea of cutting it to a shorter
length. She is extremely striking. Under her blond hair, she has grey eyes
which flash when she is excited or angry. She has a aquiline nose which
fits prefect with her appearance along with slender lips. She is also quite
light skinned. She often darkens around her eyes and highlights her lips
in red.
Lady Goldrose has an incredible quality suit of plate armor which is
gold finished and is highly articulated. It was fitted to her and wears
almost like a second skin. She is already a striking figure outside the
armor and in the armor she is even more striking. When not in armor, she
usually likes to wear a comfortable but high quality gown. While they are
simpler than many of the gowns worn by other noble women, she chooses her
gowns with incredible style and she is usually extremely attractively dressed
when not in armor. She is partial to gold cloths and various types of scarlet.

Lady Goldrose's Background:
Lady Goldrose was born the daughter of one of the highest nobles within
the lands ruled by Camelot but unfortunately she was born on the wrong
side of the sheets and was born a daughter. Duke Malcolm Goldrose is a
powerful lord who has a huge estate. He also has the ear of the King himself
and is considered one of the more honest among the nobles. Of course, like
most nobles, he cannot be fully trusted. He also was not without his vices
and kept multiple women on the side. Actually, he still keeps several mistresses
but he has become more discreet with them over the years.
The Duke had a major problem though. His wife of ten years had been
unable to conceive a child and he had no heir. The only child was a bastard
daughter from one of his mistresses. A lovely blond girl to be sure but
still an illegitimate child. The situation was of major concern to the
other nobles. No one wanted a major house to remain headless if he died
and the situation was brought before the king. The king decided that it
would be best to consider the daughter to be his heir unless a legitimate
child was born. He also stated that it would be best for the girl to be
married as soon as possible to help hide her illegitimate status.
It was in this environment that the girl grew up. She was alternatively
indulged and then ignored. The Dukes wife continued trying to have a child
and fought any attempt by Duke Goldrose to divorce her. She liked her status
and did not want to lose her station. Even so, the spoiled child got a
noble education including learning to read and right in both American and
the Dragon Language in addition to learning Euro as it is spoken in England.
She also learned a bit about the supernatural and magic. She was never
an outstanding scholar but was not stupid. She learned to love singing
and dancing.
There was a shock to all when a sword was put in her hand. Completely
untrained, she showed more skill than many of the squires. At that time,
she thought her future was to be noble lady and a husband would be found
for her and she would be married by the time she was eighteen. Still, she
loved the sword and begged the weapon's master to teach her the way of
the sword. He would not agree with her on that but agreed to teach her
the use of a knife because it would be most useful if she needed to defend
herself. She grew up tall and strong. She also grew to be extremely beautiful.
The Duchess had been trying to become pregnant for years and finally
found a solution. She traveled over to the New German Republic and was
able to get in-vitro fertilization. Medical facilities were simply too
primitive in England to be done although it is a relatively simply procedure
in Germany. The results were a son and the boy immediately became the heir
to the estate, leaving the girl, who was ten by this time, with virtually
no status whatsoever. There was a big debate about what to do with her.
There were fierce arguments and recriminations. The Duke's wife wanted
her to be banished to a convent or somewhere else where she could effectively
be exiled.
The weapon's master spoke up for her, suggesting that she get sent to
apprentice with one of the female knights that serve Camelot. The Duke
finally decided that would be his solution to the problem of his illegitimate
daughter. Of course, she was given no input into what was to be done with
her.
Dawn was sent packing as soon was practical. The Duke had to call in
a number of favors to get a lady knight to be willing to train his daughter.
Due to having been spoiled as a child and the indifferent training she
had received previously, training was incredibly difficult. As well, the
lady knight did not like an apprentice being virtually forced on her. It
is quite possible that the woman was attempting to get the Duke's daughter
to specifically fail. Somehow, the girl made it through, just squeaking
by at first but later excelling. Lady Ash never grew to like her student,
who remained stuck up and spoiled, but grew to respect her student's sword
skills. Still, the girl was not without her faults and had to have humility
knocked into her several times. It took a trouncing by several non nobles
to have some of her ego deflated. Like her father, Dawn has a taste for
having relationships and grew quite proficient in those arts. Dawn also
developed into a powerful psychic during her training.
Like knights before her, Dawn was knighted by the king in a ceremony
with several other knights. Feeling guilty about his treatment of his daughter,
the Duke sent a full set of gear for the young knight. Included in that
was a set of red and gold armor which was fitted so perfectly to her that
it was almost a second skin. It also had multiple techno-wizard additions
which she could activate with her psychic abilities. As well, one of the
horses she had rode before being apprenticed had been badly injured and
the brain of the horse was transferred in a bionic body and the steed was
given to her.
Once she was knighted, she went on travels up north with a group of
adventurers. A wizard hired the group to help him attempt to recover a
powerful artifact. He had talismans made for the group to help protect
them against the supernatural. As well, he enchanted a claymore sword for
Dawn although through a special magic ritual, he took the permanent magic
energy from the knight instead of himself. Before then, she used a vibro-sword
but her enchanted sword is far more effective.
