Disposition:
She has a strong hatred for Lord Aerihza, who she feels is responsible
for her father's murder although there was never a body. She would love
to get a chance to kill him but realizes that she will likely never get
a chance. Because of her disagreement about the direction which the clan
is going, she does not trust many of her own clan. Many agree with Lord
Aerihza and it is virtually impossible for her to be able to tell their
true feelings.
Her feeling is that all of the Atlantian clans should be brothers and
sisters and that none should be plotting against each other. She wishes
that they would learn true caution so that they would not be picked off
one at a time. She knows that few will believe that another clan is out
to get them so she sees no point in trying to warn them. If at all possible,
she will try to avoid killing them but will do what is needed to keep her
disguise intact. Ultimately, she looks for sort of evidence which she could
present which could convince them about the truth. The possibility of bringing
those who are not in the clans at all is something she has considered.
Some of their loyalty might be a concern like those of her clan.
In general, she tries to protect those who she considers innocent and
do what she can although she realizes that it is far from a perfect world.
Those she has to kill, she will regret greatly and hopes that one day she
will be able to atone for what she is forced to do. As such, she bides
her time and plans for an uncertain future. She also is looking for evidence
to confirm that he father was murdered and hopes that by joining the Sunaj
she will get the evidence she needs. If her father is a prisoner, she hopes
that she might be able to rescue him although it is a faint hope.

Appearance:
As with most True Atlantians, she is extremely tall while being quite
muscular and well defined. Still her figure is feminine and she is quite
attractive with dark Caucasian skin more or less Mediterranean in general
appearance. She has long dark brown hair which she allows to be just slightly
wild. Her hair hangs down half way to the small of her back. She has brown
eyes which challenge those around her. She tends to not wear too much in
the way of makeup but does highlight around her mouth in a dark brown and
tends to wear highlights around her eyes as well.
When not dressed in her Sunaj armor, Kistran usually wears not much
in the way of clothing to give her full access to her tattoos. She wears
a bikini style halter top often with a bottom of similar design. She prefers
reds and browns in general. She does usually wear leather boots on her
feet. For jewelry, she wears a wide armband on her right lower arm as well
as a pair of bracelets around her left arm.

Background:
Kistran's father was noble who was also a relatively powerful leader in the clan hierarchy previous to Lord Aerihza taking power. He was a supporting of working with the other clans and gaining closer ties with them. After Lord Aerihza took power, he was in strong vocal disagreement with these new policies and fought to keep them from killing those from the other clans, labeling what was being done as acting like a thief in the night and extremely dishonorable.
One day he simply disappeared and no one knows what happened to him. Many, including his daughter, believe that he was killed by follows of Aerihza but there is no proof. Several other nobles have disappeared under similar circumstances and others are suppose to have committed suicide. It is possible that they were considered too powerful to just kill. There is an off chance in his daughter's opinion that he is still a prisoner. Officially, there is no opinion from the present clan leadership. There is even some suggestion that he might have disappeared to escape from dishonor although Kistran believes that it smoke to keep others from investigating too closely.
Several other noble families had other members of the family disappear after the head of the household. Her own mother appears to have committed suicide. To save the younger members of the noble house, they were brought into lesser houses who were considered family allies who had hidden their disagreement with the current leaders of the clan. She was raised by one of these families who claimed that she was their daughters. Her original name was Jakella which she changed to Kistran when she went to the family. A fairly reclusive family, they had escaped much notice. There raised her with much care and their shared many of her father's opinions which they passed on to her.
The leadership demanded that members of many of the families give up their children to be trained to become loyal Sunaj. She volunteered but her plan was always to see what she could do to work against the policies and perhaps somehow oust the current leadership. She has long had fantasies about killing the present Lord Aerihman but realizes that it very well may prove to be impossible. She also wants to find some proof which she could bring the other clans which would be incontrovertible. With a general war against the Aerihman clan and a "fifth column" working from inside, there is hope that the current leadership could be brought down. As well, she has considered if there are those not of the clan she could bring into such a war. Right now, it is time to appear to be a loyal soldier and plan for the future.
