Disposition:
Lady Galatea is just as dedicated as she was before having been effective reborn in her cybernetic body. She believes in Camelot and the king. As well, she is extremely honorable and believes in keeping her word. Unlike some royal knights, she does not have a prejudice against those who other knights, especially Royal Knights, would consider lesser than them. The knight will fight to defend them as strongly as she would anyone considered their superior. She has a dislike for some royal knights who consider themselves better than she is just because of their birth.
The knight had always been something of a loner, preferring to rely on her own skills but since becoming a cyborg, she has become even more of a loner. This is not to say that she cannot work with teammates and will do virtually anything in support of an ally. She is not extremely social, not particularly enjoying the endless parties which many seem to enjoy. Before being a cyborg, she had some experience with the other sex although she never did all that well in that area either. Since becoming a cyborg, there seems to be little chance of that.
Her feelings on her new body are mixed. On one hand, she feels a loss of humanity. She can no longer feel the touch of another the way she could before. She never really shunned the company of others and she can no longer feel the same with the touch of her steed. As well, any hope of companionship seems lost and she can not longer ever have children. On the other hand, she realizes that she is incredibly tough, able to take on some of the toughest in supernatural creatures in single combat and take on half a dozen normal warriors in single combat. There is a certain sense of invincibility. She is faster and stronger than she had even been in the past.

Appearance:
Lady Galatea before she became a cyborg was fairly attractive but nothing incredible with brown hair and brown eyes. She was fairly muscular and solidly built but again not spectacular. When she was Violet, she was around five foot eight inches tall. Her transformation changed her almost completely. She gained a foot in height with the body, which is solid silver metal except for her face, having a definite female body with stylized breasts and hips as part of her cyborg body. There was a massive weight gain in her cyborg body.
The only thing human still visible, her face has been extensively reconstructed so it is far more attractive that it was originally with a Nordic style to it with light skin and a slender nose. She does not wear much in the way of makeup but does color her lips a bright red. Her eyes are obviously artificial but have blue iris for a more pleasing appearance. Lady Galatea wears long golden hair in a pony tail which hands directly from the silver back of her skull. Hanging down to her waist, her hair is obviously not natural human hair and has a metallic golden sheen.
When out in the field, Lady Galatea normally wears a suit of crystalline armor which is styled as a set of knights armor and includes a helm. Her sword is usually slung on her back with the heavy rifle beside it. The pistol is the only weapon she wears on her hip. When not dressed in her armor, she usually wears a simple loose fitting gown, usually white with no real ornamentation. For some reason, she seems to feel that she is naked when she is just in her metal body although she does not usually wear any shoes. While this might be technically true, not too many cyborgs really care. She does usually wear several amulets around her neck as jewelry.

Combines an enchanted sword (Through Enchant Weapon - Minor) and an Anti-Magic Wand (Gives +6 to save against magic when held. Also gives the ability to cast the following spells once per day: Dispel Magic Barriers, Negate Magic, and Anti-Magic Cloud). Sword has 300 M.D.C. and is only damaged by attacks against the weapon.

Bionic Horse "Longchamps":
Full conversion bionic horse with the body obviously mechanical. The main body of the horse is a silver metal finish with the mane and tail metallic gold, obviously artificial as well. Was white when a normal horse. Nuclear powered with 15 year life span. Has two large and four medium compartments in the main body.
M.D.C. Values: Head: 150, Front Legs (4): 160 each, Rear Legs: 180 each, Main Body: 450, and Heavy Barding: 450.
Speed: Running: 120 m.p.h. (192 kmph) maximum. Running does NOT tire out the Cyborg and maximum speed can be maintained indefinitely. Leaping: Powerful robot legs can leap 15 feet (4.6 m) up or across from a stationary position. Can leap up to 40 feet (12.2 m) lengthwise with a running leap (at least 60 mph). Height is still limited to 15 feet (4.6 m).

Lady Galatea's Background:


Lady Galatea was born Violet Revell. Violet was not born a noble but instead the daughter of simple farmers, poor and tied to the land. Sometimes a knight would ride through the farmland which her family worked and Violet looked at them, especially the handful of female knights which passed through, with envy. Violet always dreamed of being a knight even as a little girl. Many of the girls she was raised around wanted to be princesses and be rescued but she always wanted to be the hero. She practiced with wooden sticks as a sword and pretended to slay the evil monsters. There was no formal education and Violet could not even read and write.


When Violet reached her early teens, her father betrothed her to the son of another farmer. While she had particular hatred for the boy, she had never wanted to be the wife of a farmer and she fought with her parents over it in a long and dragged out argument. It came down that she would be forced to marry the boy the next day and she decided to run away as a result. She packed the few items which she considered hers and made her escape during the night after her parents had fallen asleep. The young girl decided to make her way to New Camelot. If she had to, she planned to work as a servant but inside was still the dream of becoming a knight.


It was a long trip to the kingdom of New Camelot and the girl was amazed by the size of everything and the fantastic clothing and armor which many of the people wore. Even now it is unclear to her exactly how it happened but an older female knight with grey hair struck up a conversation with the young girl. The older knight was grizzled like she had never seen before and was extremely intimidating. In the end, the older knight learned of Violet's interest in becoming a knight and offered to train her as a squire.


Lady Eve, as Violet learned to call the older knight, was an extreme taskmaster. The older knight not only expected the girl to learn the arts of war but the arts of peace as well. This included learning how to read and write and several different languages including the language of Elves and Dragons. Lessons about honor and the code of a knight were strongly stressed. Just because she was being taught how to read and write, the old knight did not slack on the sword drills. Many days, Violet ended up flat on her back after a day of training almost unable to move. Only the tiniest of protests came from the girl about the pace of the training. She was told clearly that she could quit and go back to being the wife of a farmer anytime she wanted. That quieted any additional protest.


Violet was eventually knighted by the king dressed in splendid armor wearing an enchanted sword at her side given to her by Lady Eve. At first she served alongside her mentor but soon enough she was trusted with responsibility of her own. Her loyalty to New Camelot and the king was seen as strong. Like many knights, she did not know how far she could trust the sorcerer who served the king. As well, she did not get along with all of the Royal Knights who considered themselves better than her.


Eventually, she even was trusted with some fairly sensitive missions. Several battles gave her a chance to show her martial prowess. None of the fights she fought in could be considered truly major but they were intense enough. She strongly believed in slaying evil whenever she could and fought many supernatural creatures including against Gargoyles in a couple of cases. She had become known as Lady Violet by this time and was well respected by the other knights even though she was never as social as some of the other knights. She had managed to acquire a powerful magic sword with the ability to disrupt magic.


She was on patrol when she was ambushed by a group of bandits. She was a skilled warrior but it was eight against one. Lady Violet was able to take a pair down but she was overwhelmed in the end. Stripped of her gear including her enchanted sword, the young knight was left for dead by the bandits, her body shattered. Her faithful steed was in similar straits, both barely alive and their lives slowly draining from their bodies. If rescue had been more than a few minutes later, death would have come for them both. As it was, neither would ever be the same.


Violet woke up in a hospital bed in incredible pain. One arm and one leg were completely gone, one arm gone below the elbow, her face ruined and she could only see from one eye, and enough holes in her chest and abdomen to never be able to survive without life support. She wished death at this point, thinking that she could never move from the bed again. As she began to slowly come to her senses, she was visited by the king himself. He told her that she had commissioned to have her body rebuild with cybernetics. Not just any cybernetics but enchanted techno-wizard bionics. After a few minutes, she accepted the kings offer. Just as he was leaving her bedside, he told her that her faithful steed would also be rebuilt but that they could not afford magical cybernetics for her steed as well.


Rebuilding her took many weeks and she had to endure many incredibly painful surgeries. Her bones had to be replaced with high strength composites and alloys. Many of her internal organs had to be replaced, wrecked beyond any ability to repair. Her limbs were replaced by bionic limbs many times stronger than her original body. Even her wrecked face, the only thing still visible, was extensively rebuilt with the bio-sculpting actually improving her looks. Her eyes were replaced by powerful cybernetic optics. Training took even longer, learning how to use her new body. Eventually, the pain diminished and she learned how to live in her own body. Violet even began to be able to enjoy her new body a little bit. She took the name Lady Galatea after the ancient legend of a statue coming to life.


Once recovered, the first thing she did was go after the bandits who virtually killed her. She was able to defeat them this time although the battle was long and difficult. Luckily, they did not realize that her cyborg body was techno-wizardry and the wielder did not try to use the abilities of the sword against her. One of the first things she did in the battle was seize the sword from the wielder of it. In many ways, the battle was something she had to do. It allowed her to exorcize the demons which had haunted her soul since she had been virtually killed by them.
