Two Waterloo class carriers were escorting the Lafayette when she was transported into the Star Wars Universe.

As all wing commander capital ships, It has phase shields which have the advantage that no fighter and smaller weapons can effect it with the exceptions of Ship Killers, Proton Torpedoes and Concussion missiles. It carries a small amount of fighters (32). It is fairly well armed with the low amount of weapons being compensated for by the power level of each weapon. It is a little slow as compared to the newer Imperial and New Republic ships.
